The story itself is fine, the romance didn't grip me but it has potential. It's just a lot of it was squashed by the writing style for me, the narration is just atrocious. There's way too much detail wasted on insignificant things while the important bits were treated too cursory and shallow for me. I'd rather read more insight about the characters and their relationships than where exactly they seat or with who.
