Heart of the Glen

When Saoirse Fagan arrives at Ireland's Drumboe Castle to begin work as a housemaid, she finds the household in mourning — its lord has just died. Already fleeing grief of her own, she wanders the glen with nowhere to go until Aileen McCready offers her a lift and a place to stay. Aileen's brother Owen, a sheep farmer and weaver renowned for his tweed, is fighting to save his livelihood after an injury — and as Saoirse settles into life at the McCready farm, an unlikely bond begins to form between them.
