Synopsis

This volume collects the middle stretch of Matt Fraction and David Aja's acclaimed Hawkeye run, following Clint Barton's off-duty life in his Bed-Stuy apartment building rather than his Avengers missions. Between fending off the local "tracksuit mafia," an ill-advised entanglement with a gun-toting woman named Cherry, and an uncomfortable Valentine's Day, Clint's ordinary, unglamorous problems get as much attention as any supervillain fight.

Fraction's script leans into deadpan humor and quiet character work, while the art (including guest work from Javier Pulido and others) keeps the tone loose and off-kilter.
