Synopsis

Mitch Albom's bestselling author of Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People You Meet in Heaven moves from personal narrative to a meditation on faith through two unlikely mentors: Rabbi Albert L. Lewis, an affluent rabbi who became his lifelong friend; and Pastor Henry Covington, a former addict turned minister serving the poor at Detroit's I Am My Brother's Keeper Church. Alternating between Albom's conversations with each man and excerpts from their sermons, the book explores what faith means to people living vastly different lives.
