Hard Corps

After fighting in the war for twelve years, Alec "A-Train" Jacob returns to the United States to find that things changed drastically at home while he was away. Hoping for peace of mind and a new beginning, he rides his motorcycle from Wichita, Kansas to Austin, Texas.

Still driven to protect anyone he sees as a victim, Alec is quick to step in when someone needs help. Through a new friend he meets Katie "Bug" Ripton, who is quietly recovering from a random act of violence. He hopes for nothing in return but the satisfaction of helping her; she sees a man who is kind, considerate, and willing to protect her from harm. Apart, their lives are empty and haunted by their pasts. Together, a future begins to unfold.

Hard Corps is a standalone romance in Scott Hildreth's Selected Sinners MC series.
