Synopsis
Harriet Hamsterbone is a princess, but not a very conventional one. When a rat places a curse on her at birth — dooming her to prick her finger on a hamster-wheel spindle on her twelfth birthday and fall into a deep sleep — Harriet decides this is wonderful news: it means she's invincible until she's twelve. She spends the next two years slaying ogres, cliff-diving, and generally having adventures with her riding quail, Mumfrey.
But when her twelfth birthday arrives, the curse manifests in a way Harriet never expected, and she has to find a prince to set things right. A comic, fairy-tale-twisting first entry in the Hamster Princess series, told through a mix of prose and comic-panel art.
