Synopsis

Eight years in an off-world prison changed Edie, and it's all because Angel, her former partner and the woman she can't forget, sold her out. When early parole drops Edie back onto Kepler space station, Angel is waiting with an offer: one last job, one last heist, against the trillionaire tech mogul who got away last time. Trusting Angel again is the last thing Edie wants, but the crew, seventeen-year-old hacker Malia and star-struck dancer Sara, and the promise of a payout big enough to help Edie's struggling family, are hard to walk away from. Makana Yamamoto's debut is a queer, character-driven heist in a lived-in space-station setting, equal parts caper and reckoning between two people who never stopped loving each other.
