Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at All, Vol. 1
Aya Osawa is an upbeat, fashionable high schooler who loves rock music, even though none of her classmates seem to share the interest — until she starts visiting a record store and falls for the cool, stylish employee working there. What she doesn't know is that the clerk is her own classmate, the quiet and reserved Mitsuki Koga, wearing a disguise.
Mitsuki sits right next to Aya in class, which means she's all too aware of Aya's growing feelings for her secret alter ego, and increasingly afraid of what happens if the truth comes out. As the two keep meeting over their shared love of music, their bond deepens into something neither of them expected.
This first volume collects the early chapters of Sumiko Arai's yuri romance, originally serialized on the author's Twitter account before print publication by Media Factory in Japan. The English-language edition is translated by Ajani Oloye and published by Yen Press.
