I couldn't put this book (well my phone) down. I read for hours on end and I wasn't bored even for one single minute. Gurnah is astounding in story telling and putting simply very complex emotions. I feel sorry for myself for i only heard about him after he won the Nobel Prize. This was an emotional treat.
