Synopsis

Between one and four in the morning, the lives of Tokyo's night owls quietly cross. A taxi driver named Matsui ferries insomniacs and odd-errand-runners through the sleeping city — among them Mitsuki, who tracks down obscure props for film sets, and a late-night helpline operator searching for a brother who walked out one day and never came back. Across a linked cycle of stories orbiting an all-night diner, Atsuhiro Yoshida draws chance encounters into a gentle, melancholy portrait of strangers reaching for what they've lost.
