I loved this book.
Good Girls Stay Quiet completely pulled me in and didn’t let go. I flew through it, but it’s also one of those books that’s going to stick with me for a long time.
There were so many moments that made me angry, frustrated, heartbroken, and hopeful all at once. The themes are heavy, but Jo Cassidy handled them so well. Nothing felt forced or overdramatic—it just felt real.
I cared so much about the characters and what happened to them. I wanted to reach into the pages and protect them, but I also loved seeing them find their strength and their voices.
This is exactly the kind of YA I love: emotional, important, and impossible to put down. It made me feel a lot, and honestly, that’s one of the highest compliments I can give a book.
A definite favourite of the year.
