Synopsis

Goddess of the River is a lyrical retelling of the Mahabharata told from the perspective of Ganga. As the goddess of the river, she is imprisoned by Shiva and forced to live as mortal Jahnavi while conceiving her sons — each one destined for a different role in the epic's tragic history.
