This series very quickly made it into my favourites, holy moly was it an amazing read. The characters, romance, the development and world building all made this series amazing.
One of my favourite things throughout this series was seeing Auren grow and realise that she was a victim of the greed of a man. Her growth into a strong and powerful woman is what makes this series as amazing as it is.
My other favourite part - Rip - I love him so much, just ugh 10/10.
This series honestly reminded me a lot of ACOTAR (but low key better) ... you had the dynamic atmosphere of Rip's wrath - Auren finding Rip after realising how she had been mistreated. Finally finding people who wanted to be with her for nothing other than her friendship, Auren is able to understand what it is to truly live.
And yes there is spice.
