Girls' Trip

Girls' Trip is Jason Letts' psychological thriller and the first book of his Girls' Trilogy. Alice, Taylor, and Emily barely know each other beyond the office when they book a cabin in a small Texas town for Labor Day weekend, hoping the time away will turn colleagues into friends.

The rental is charming until it isn't. Their host lives in a cabin attached to theirs. The entry code keeps changing. Small things move. None of the three can decide whether they are being unsettled on purpose, whether they are imagining it, or whether the danger is real, and the disagreement between them becomes its own problem.

Letts keeps the book tight and claustrophobic, with the suspicion between the three women doing as much work as the threat outside. It builds to a late twist, and a second edition added an epilogue extending the ending.
