Gin Tama, Vol. 1

In an alternate Edo Japan colonized by aliens, samurai-turned-freelancer Gintoki Sakata runs a small odd-jobs shop with his two unlikely companions: the supernaturally strong alien girl Kagura and the bespectacled teenager Shinpachi. Together they take on everything from escort missions to monster hunts while constantly getting dragged into battles against corrupt officials, ruthless gangs, and cosmic threats — all while making fun of manga tropes along the way.
