Ghostsmith closes out Nicki Pau Preto's House of the Dead duology, picking up after Wren learns that the mother she believed dead is actually the Corpse Queen, the ghostsmith responsible for creating the nearly unstoppable undead army known as the iron revenants. With her father determined to seize more power for the House of Bone, Wren flees back into the Breach alongside Leo and Julian, though Julian's fury over her earlier betrayal makes the alliance fragile. This book is the second and final installment in the House of the Dead duology and serves as a direct continuation of the events in Bonesmith. It is intended to be read after the first book to understand the established character dynamics and the ongoing conflict.
