Synopsis

In 1959, Ginette Cox moves from New York City to a quiet suburban house at 19 Howard Avenue to find peace. Instead, she becomes obsessed with watching her neighbors from her window, making up stories about their lives to pass the time. But as strange noises echo from the basement, Ginette finds herself unable to leave the house, trapped by either a supernatural presence or her own deteriorating mind. When she witnesses what looks like a murder and spots a terrifying stranger outside, she must confront the dark force keeping her prisoner.
