Synopsis
At King Arthur's court, a mysterious Green Knight issues a deadly challenge: any knight may strike him once, but must receive a return blow in a year and a day. Sir Gawain, the noblest of knights, accepts, beheading the Green Knight who then rides off, alive. Gawain must now embark on a perilous quest to find the Green Chapel and fulfill his promise, facing trials of courage and honor along the way.
