Synopsis

In 1971, a group of Colombian innovators set out to create a thriving community in the country's harsh eastern savannas, proving that even the most brutal environments could sustain life. For nearly three decades, the village of Gaviotas has pioneered sustainable development, inventing ingenious solutions like windmills that harness mild breezes and solar collectors that function in the rain. This story reveals how Gaviotas transformed a stricken land into a model of peace and prosperity, offering a new perspective on what's possible for our world.
