Jumping into Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erickson felt like a long overdue adventure that I'm thrilled to have finally started. This book has a vibe that’s part Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time in its depth and Erickson's own unique flavor that’s often compared to Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere universe. It's a slow burn at the start, but once it hooks you, it's a wild ride that’s tough to put down—especially that last 20% that just blows you away. Now, I can't wait to dive deeper into the rest of the series!

Just finished Gardens of the Moon; I found it chaotic in the beginning & in the first chapters it was difficult for me to identify with any of the characters or to understand what is going on, for that matter. Fortunately, it got better further on, especially after the action moved to Darujhistan & the various threads of the plot intertwined. I have to read the next book of the series to give a more definite opinion.
