Gambling on the Duke's Daughter opens Diana Bold's Brides of Scandal series with Captain Dylan Blake, recently returned from military service and struggling to find his footing back in London society. Baited into a wager by an old nemesis, he sets out to win two dances in one evening from Lady Natalia Sinclair, a duke's daughter wary that every suitor is really courting her enormous dowry. What starts as a bet becomes something Dylan can't easily walk away from, especially once he learns his own brother Michael, who has beaten him to plenty of things before, is courting Natalia too.
