Naota Nandaba, a seemingly ordinary sixth-grader, finds his mundane life turned upside down when a mysterious, pink-haired woman named Haruko Haruhara crashes into him on a Vespa. Haruko, who claims to be an alien investigator, moves into his house and wields a Rickenbacker bass guitar as a weapon. Soon, strange robots begin to emerge from Naota's forehead, forcing him into a bizarre adventure that challenges his understanding of the world and himself.
