I think this series might soon become my new favorite one. I had no complaints while reading. The premise was interesting, with a fresh new take on vampires and werewolves. The plot kept me on my toes all the way through, and I became enchanted with the brave and skilled heroine. I can't wait for more.

The first time I read this was quite some time ago. I loved it then, and absolutely adore them now. The world building, the romance, the action packed plot? It is perfection.

I can be pretty picky when it comes to fantasy authors. People know I only read a few certain ones. But JLA is definitely added to that list, and may be my new favorite.

I had a little trouble getting through the first few chapters of this book, but I'm so glad I did. All the sudden I had so much trouble putting this book down. I can't wait to read the next book in the series
