Synopsis

Eddie Huang, the thirty-year-old proprietor of Baohaus, recounts his journey from a suburban Orlando cul-de-sac to becoming a controversial young star in the food world. Raised by Taiwanese immigrant hustlers, he navigated American culture, defying stereotypes while obsessing over football, fighting, partying, and idolizing Tupac. Food served as his constant anchor, from Southern ribs to traditional Taiwanese meals, ultimately leading him to create his own restaurant, a fusion of his diverse past and global influences.
