Synopsis

Rhodes has come home to renovate the house she grew up in, hiring her brother's best friend Anson Hunt as her contractor. Anson is gruff, guarded, and the last person Rhodes expects to lean on — but as a series of increasingly dangerous "accidents" starts to target her, he's the one who steps in to keep her safe.

As the threat escalates, Rhodes and Anson are forced into each other's orbit constantly, and the wall between them starts to crack. Both are carrying old wounds from their pasts, and the danger circling Rhodes gives them no choice but to face those wounds together, along with whoever — or whatever — is determined to hurt her.

Fragile Sanctuary opens Catherine Cowles' Sparrow Falls series, blending small-town romantic suspense with a classic grumpy/sunshine pairing and a found-family cast.
