I was a little confused in chapter 3, which made me question wether or not to continue reading. I am so glad that I did, though, because once you understand what is going on with the MMC, it makes sense. Honestly, it allows a glimpse into how he must be feeling in his day to day life.
While the story did seem to be fast paced, there are chunks of time between chapters and not necessarily a day to day passing. I enjoy the chapters being dual pov. It's exciting to see how each character is navigating certain situations.
I wish the history with Stacy would have been more detailed and not just glossed over.
I seen comments about the book having moments where the MMC and FMC are dealing with lustful thoughts and I think this is a very real thing we all deal with, as humans and Christians. The author, in my opinion, captured this element very well and gave the characters self control, which is more than a lot of us can say about ourselves. It's that yearning for one another without full on spice.
The epilogue at the end was so cute and satisfied my need for a conclusion.
