I try to write the reviews right when I finish the book because I feel like this is gonna be one of those series where I won’t be able to differentiate the individual events in each book, it will mix in one giant memory.

While I appreciate that we have one cover for each bond, and the covers are really pretty, I’m feeling like the story it’s being dragged for too long. I'm in book four and there are another two left. I like that we are no longer in the college part, but the descriptions on the mundane tasks are too much, we already set some of their routines, the seafood, the showers, the nights with each bond, maybe we can skip them and focus in other more important parts so that the story and the characters can fully develop.

Something that I feel now is like Silas Davies described as this incredibly strong gifted but then everyone is more powerful than him? Gryphon is stronger than him and the Nightmares are terrifying to everyone and can eat someone and leave nothing behind, Oli can take the life of everyone in the state but not his? To this point I have not seen something that makes him or the Resistance feel like important villains to be scared of, or that he is strong enough to take the Bonded Group, they're being wiped out everytime the principal group arrives in the wastelands.

The ending was something I was not ready for.

Even though my feelings towards Nox were a bit rocky in the beginning, I really hope they bring him back,

because the characters are the only reason why I enjoy this story as much as I do.
