I read this book in two parts, the first one, weeks ago and put it down. I finally picked it up a couple of days ago and finished it so I could start a clean new year. I read it this way, not because I didn't find it interesting. It's just a bit long with a lot of developments. I enjoy books with characters with disabilities, especially romances, and this one delivered a well-developed one. The language was a bit obtrusive to my understanding at times since the hero has a huge speech impediment at the beginning, and the female protagonist is a quaker and, apparently, Quakers speak as if they are stuck in the 17th century. I have no idea since I've never read anything about them. Overall it was a really great and unique romance.
