Firewatch - Vertraue mir. Liebe mich. Verrate dich.

One year earlier, Aaron took a summer job as a firewatch in a remote California national park. In the neighbouring fire tower he met Kian, a young writer he found irresistibly drawn to, even as he sensed Kian was hiding something. Aaron secretly left his post to be with Kian one night — and never came back.

When the investigation into his disappearance is dropped, Aaron's best friend Robin refuses to let it go. Convinced Kian killed him, Robin applies for the fire tower next to Kian's and sets out on a dangerous plan: get close to him, date him, earn his trust, and avenge Aaron.

Colin Hadler's New Adult suspense-romance is a queer thriller built around grief, obsession, and a mystery that only gets more dangerous the closer Robin gets to the truth.
