Fire force

The city of Tokyo is gripped by a wave of spontaneous human combustion — ordinary people burst into flame and become monstrous Infernals. Special Fire Force companies exist to hunt down and put these victims to rest. Shinra Kusakabe, a young recruit with the rare ability to ignite his own feet for rocket-speed bursts, joins Special Fire Cathedral 8, an odd company of fire soldiers with their own gifts and grudges. Nicknamed "the Devil's Footprints" for a habit of grinning under pressure, Shinra is also chasing answers about a fire that killed his mother and brother years earlier — and about what is really behind the epidemic of combustion sweeping the city.
