Synopsis

When Stephanie’s best friend Lula witnesses the gruesome decapitation of celebrity chef Stanley Chipotle, she becomes entangled in an amateur-sleuth plot that spirals into a murder mystery. The victim's sponsors offer a $1 million reward for his killers, and Lula decides to enter a local BBQ cook-off contest on the theory that one of her competitors is involved — despite having no culinary skills whatsoever. As Stephanie’s ex-boyfriend Ranger investigates a string of burglaries among his clients, he offers to help her with both cases. Amidst escalating danger from Chipotle's inept hired killers and an unlikely romance brewing between Lula and a rival contestant named Marco, the women must uncover who is actually behind the murder before it's too late.
