Synopsis

A brilliant scholar and alchemist who has exhausted every avenue of human knowledge feels his life wasted; after a suicide attempt, he summons the devil to trade his soul for unlimited power. The resulting pact with Mephistopheles sets Faust on a path through magic, seduction, and ambition that ultimately determines whether redemption is possible.
