Synopsis

In an alternate 1964 where Nazi Germany won World War II and dominates Europe, Kriminalpolizei investigator Xavier March investigates the suspicious drowning of a high-ranking retired Nazi official near Berlin. Teaming up with American journalist Charlie Maguire ahead of Adolf Hitler's 75th birthday and a historic summit with US President Joseph Kennedy, March uncovers an orchestrated conspiracy to eliminate attendees of the 1942 Wannsee Conference and conceal the truth of the Holocaust.

British novelist and former journalist known for historical fiction and political thrillers. Educated at the University of Cambridge, he worked as a reporter and political columnist before publishing his breakthrough alternate history novel Fatherland in 1992. His major works include the Cicero trilogy, Enigma, Pompeii, The Ghost, and Conclave, several of which have been adapted into films.
