Synopsis

Oskar Schell is a bright, imaginative boy living in New York City. His life is turned upside down when his father dies in the September 11th attacks. While sorting through his father's belongings, Oskar discovers a mysterious key and a cryptic note. This discovery sends him on an adventure across the city to find the lock that fits the key, leading him to a cast of unique characters and a deeper understanding of his father and himself.
