Synopsis

Exquisite Corpses #1 opens a horror comic series from James Tynion IV, Michael Walsh, and Jordie Bellaire. Every five years on Halloween, the wealthiest families in America run a hidden game: twelve of the deadliest killers alive are dropped into an unsuspecting small town, sealed off from the outside world, and made to fight each other to the death. The winning family gets to run the country for the next five years. This debut issue sets the game in motion in the town of Oak Valley, Maine, following both the hunters unleashed on its streets and the ordinary residents who suddenly have to survive a night none of them saw coming.
