Synopsis

Ava Thatcher has built a career out of uncovering secrets, no matter how dangerous they are. But the story in front of her now feels different: a new drug spreading through the streets, a source who will not give a name, and a trail of lies that keeps ending in dead ends. The further she pushes, the less it feels like reporting a story and the more it feels like being hunted.

Nate is a soldier, a ghost, and now a spy. His orders are straightforward — get close to Ava Thatcher, find out exactly what she knows, and eliminate the threat she poses. What he does not plan for is how quickly the assignment stops being an assignment, and how completely the woman he was sent to destroy becomes the one thing he cannot bring himself to lose. "She's my target, my downfall, and my only salvation."

Exposé is the first book in Ann-Marie Davis's Riverfield series, a dual-POV enemies-to-lovers romantic thriller built on forced proximity, hidden identities and a morally grey hero. It is written for adult readers and is explicit.
