Expecting Someone Taller

Malcolm Fisher is an ordinary, unassuming man until he runs over a badger on a country road — and the dying badger turns out to be Ingolf, last of the giants, who bequeaths him the Ring of the Nibelung and the Tarnhelm. Suddenly the reluctant ruler of the world, Malcolm must fend off Wotan and a cast of scheming gods who all want their power back, in this comic fantasy built from the bones of Wagner's Ring Cycle.
