I’m not honestly sure how I feel about this book. It was well written, for sure. But by the end I felt more confused than anything. I did somehow manage to finish it within less than twelve hours, but it left me with many unanswered questions. I didn’t get Alice’s motivations for the snide remarks, the looks of triumph. I know she “kinda” explains at the end but it still just didn’t make any sense to me why she’d do those things if she was truly just trying to help. I think if the book was longer and things were explained a bit more, maybe I’d see it. But toward the end it just felt really rushed. Probably not something I would read again.
