This was a decent book. Solid plot, pretty believable characters. Not much by way of worldbuilding besides explanations of the main characters' powers, which was disappointing. I definitely would have liked more background. I wouldn't recommend this for younger teens, as there are several (many) instances where things of a sexual nature are discussed (in fact, this seems to be a major thing for the main character, Jade, but as she's a 17 year old girl, it makes some sense). It wasn't my favorite for this reason, as well as because I couldn't get "into" the plot as much as I would've liked.
