Synopsis

At age eleven, Fumihiro Kuki learns from his father that he was created to be a force of destruction in the world. He receives a special education in hedonism and malevolence, living a life free of consequences thanks to his family's resources. This story examines the extremes of human depravity and the powerful instinct to resist evil.

Fuminori Nakamura (中村文則) is a Japanese novelist born September 2, 1977, in Aichi Prefecture. He graduated from Fukushima University in 2000 with a degree in public administration.
