a story that feels as old as time. a woman with a history of bad days and a man with a secret that cannot be told. how these two stories align this book doesn't go into in depth but you do learn how they're intertwined towards the end. the person who narrates the story gives it life and allows you to be hopeful to the characters as well as be cautious of the characters. though this is a short story I wish there was more to some of the characters some of their stories because it does leave a lot to wonder. if the book included just a bit more information it would probably be a solid for.
