Eric is having a bad morning. The regional managers are visiting, he is behind schedule, and his tie will not sit properly. Also the moon is falling apart, the children in his neighbourhood are turning into something that is no longer children, and getting to the office on foot has become a survival problem.

A short story published as a Tor.com Original, playing apocalyptic cosmic horror straight against a man who will not stop worrying about his performance review.
