Frequently asked questions

  • Does The Selection series need to be read in order?

The first three books, The Selection, The Elite, and The One, form a complete story arc for America Singer and Prince Maxon. While subsequent books continue in the same world, reading the initial trilogy in sequence is essential for understanding the main narrative.

  • Is there a movie or TV adaptation of The Selection?

The Selection has had multiple attempts at television adaptations, including pilot episodes that were filmed but ultimately not picked up for a full series. As of my last update, there is no widely released film or TV series adaptation available.

  • How does The Selection compare to Kiera Cass's other books?

The Selection is Kiera Cass's most well-known work and established her signature style of romantic fantasy with a competition element. Her other series, like The Betrothed, explore similar themes of royalty and arranged marriages but within different narrative frameworks.
