Synopsis

In 11th-century Norway, the ancient ways of the Norse gods clash with the relentless spread of Christianity under King Olav II. Young pagan warrior Erling finds himself caught between his ancestral beliefs and the new faith, as his world is irrevocably changed by war and conversion.
