Ereth's Birthday

The self-centered porcupine Ereth expects his friend Poppy to help celebrate his birthday, but when she is nowhere to be found he sets out into the forest for a special treat of salt instead. He encounters a dying fox who asks him to care for her three kits, and Ereth — never having planned on this — must protect the rambunctious young foxes from a fisher and their vengeful father through an unexpected snowstorm.
