This book is eerily consistent in pace until the absolute very end and then it goes bat sh** until it ends with a nice little bow. I love it.

This was... entertaining. It's bizarre that it had everything I wanted in a book, medieval era, horror, mystery, an unlikely group of characters whose roads crossed etc... and YET it didn't hit the right spot for me!!
