Embarking on a tandem read of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn was an incredible journey. Reading these two books simultaneously heightened the already expansive scope of Sarah J. Maas's series, offering a richer and more immersive experience.
Throughout the tandem read, certain characters emerged as my favorites, notably Rowan, Lysandra, and Manon. Lysandra, in particular, stood out as the undeniable GOAT character for me. The depth of character development in these books is remarkable, drawing me further into their complex world.
As the narrative unfolds, the stakes soar to dizzying heights, leaving little room for anything but impending heartbreak. Yet, despite the looming sense of tragedy, I found myself unable to tear away from the gripping storyline. The intricate plot twists and emotional depth kept me riveted from start to finish. In short, the tandem read of these two novels was an enthralling experience that left me eager for more.
