Grisly and twisted whodunnit themed, a bit exceptional as usually I read serial crime of young men/women or children as victims but this serial case targeted older men, so I was a bit anxious to know the real story behind the case.
I love the chemistry betwen Poe and Tilly and how Poe treated Tilly with such respect and care. Probably cause of her social awkwardness that I fancy Tilly's honesty and the way she speaks her mind. She don't speak much though but Poe trusted her a lot that I grew fond with her attitude. Her intelligence was superb and freaking helpful.
The story telling was neat with engaging plot progression, twisty ending for almost every chapters and I did make my guess through midway of reading it and get it right, which making me more eager about the ending. A revenge quest, disturbing paedophilia issue also a great friendship story (nevertheless beware of whom you should trust). Adding Poe to one of my favorite fictional detective now, thinking of getting the rest of the books in the series next time!
