Synopsis

A giant made of iron appears from nowhere on the English coast and begins devouring farm machinery, terrifying the local community. A boy named Hogarth is the first to see him, and when the villagers set a trap to be rid of the intruder, Hogarth's uneasy conscience draws him back to the buried giant. Their unlikely bond is later tested when a monstrous creature from beyond the stars threatens the earth, and only the Iron Man can face it.

Ted Hughes's 1968 story is part fable, part early ecological fairy tale, told in spare, rhythmic prose that has made it a mainstay of children's literature for decades. This adaptation preserves the original's mix of wonder and quiet menace for younger Spanish-language readers.
