Synopsis

Egomaniac is a standalone contemporary romance by Vi Keeland, first published in January 2017. Psychologist Emerie Rose is scammed out of her savings by a con artist who "leased" her a Park Avenue office space that was never actually available — and she's still there, uninsured deposit and all, when the office's real occupant walks in: Drew Jagger, a cold, arrogant divorce attorney who makes his living tearing marriages apart while she spends hers trying to save them.

Stuck working side by side while Emerie hunts for a new office, the two trade barbed banter that slowly curdles into something neither wants to name. Their opposing outlooks on love and a forced-proximity arrangement neither chose build into a slow-burn attraction with real emotional stakes underneath the humor.

Blending sharp comedy with steamier romantic tension, Egomaniac was nominated for a 2017 Audie Award in the Erotica category and won the 2017 Australian Romance Readers Award for Erotic Romance.
